Switzerland’s Reaffirmed Role in Global Education Aid

Despite earlier budget reductions, the Swiss Parliament recently reaffirmed that education remains a cornerstone of its international cooperation strategy for 2025–28. This commitment reflects a cross-sector alliance of over 40 foundations, voicing the view that investing in global education supports peace, prosperity, and stability. Swiss aid has enabled access to education for 1.6 million children in crisis-affected areas since 2021, with backers urging a continued strong financial and political role in global education initiatives
