Switzerland Adds Green Tech Courses to All Vocational Training Tracks

Basel, June 2025 — In a push toward sustainability, Switzerland has mandated that all vocational training programs integrate green technologies and practices by 2026. This includes specialized modules in energy efficiency, sustainable manufacturing, recycling systems, and green logistics.

The reform prepares students for the evolving job market, where environmental skills are increasingly essential. It also supports national carbon reduction goals and meets EU-aligned green economy standards, ensuring Swiss VET graduates remain globally competitive.
